Catherine has been enthusiastic about both singing and art since she was at school in Lancashire and is generally involved in several projects of one sort or another at any time. She has a distinctivly light, high voice that is ideal for light opera and choral music, although her repatoire extends through musical theatre to grand opera as well. In recent times she has played Rapunzel in Sondheim's Into The Woods with the JTP Trust's Young Adult Perfrormers; Aline in Gilbert and Sulivan's The Sorcerer with Swindon G&S Society; Lady Brunel in the premier of The Little Man in the Tall Hat, a specially commissioned work about the life of IK Brunel; Papagena in The Magic Flute; Manuelita in Carmen; and Mabel in Pirates of Penzance.
For the last few years Catherine ha been a pupil of Janice Thompson, an excellent singing teacher in Swindon, because she believes that there is always more to learn. She now lives in Wiltshire with her boyfriend and too very mischievous cats. Catherine is available for weddings and other events.
